IT Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join our team at Philip Hardy Recruitment. This exciting opportunity involves working with a well-established IT recycling company based in the Kidderminster area.

Key Responsibilities
- Install new computer systems and hardware to ensure seamless functionality
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients regarding installed items
- Safely decommission redundant equipment and furniture, adhering to established procedures for disposal and transportation
- Perform cable management and fault finding, resolving network issues and software problems
- Construct PCs and laptops, configuring hardware and software as required

Requirements
- Strong understanding of IT principles, including intermediate MS Excel skills
- Familiarity with computer components and operating systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals
- Possession of a full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally for extended periods
