About the Company

We are working with a reputable Fire & Security organisation, providing services to commercial clients across the UK. The company specializes in installing and maintaining fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens and undertaking small projects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing fire suppression equipment, modification and remedial works, testing systems and equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites and perform maintenance/servicing of fire suppression equipment
  • Modification and remedial works
  • Testing systems and equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing various fire and security systems and equipment
  • PPMs (pre-planned maintenance) of systems and equipment
  • Attending breakdowns/call-outs
  • Fault-finding and remedial works (mechanical/electrical)
  • Small works projects
  • Working closely with facilities/building managers and directly with clients
  • Preparation and completion of job worksheets, paperwork, and reports
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Ansul R102 and Piranha systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent driving ability and confident in driving in and out of Cardiff and surrounding areas
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers
  • Attention to detail and takes pride in work completed
  • Adhering to strict Fire/Security and Health & Safety regulations
