E-commerce Business Development Role

We are In-Grid AB, a leading e-commerce scale-up dedicated to solving the largest problem in global e-commerce and creating the world's best delivery experiences. Our team is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Representative to drive growth in the UK market.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to support our sales objectives. You will also contribute to implementing and testing outbound campaigns and sequences, building a scalable pipeline generation mechanism that drives growth in this key market.

The role involves:
  • Lead Generation: Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, social selling, and networking to generate a robust pipeline of leads in the UK and Netherlands
  • Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, identify potential clients, and tailor outreach strategies accordingly
  • Outreach Strategy: Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage and qualify leads, leveraging Ingrid's value proposition to address specific client needs
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on target accounts, refine messaging, and share insights from market feedback
  • CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, activities, and communications with potential clients in our CRM system to ensure efficient lead management and follow-up


To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a BDR or sales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment. E-commerce experience is a plus
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and business development targets
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
  5. Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, lead generation techniques, sales engagement and CRM software
  6. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to rapidly changing environments
