TLI Group is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join their team. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for employees and stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

HSE Administration Duties

  • Tracking inspection and audit performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Preparing and submitting weekly safety reports to senior management
  • Ensuring safety certification documents are up-to-date and compliant with regulations
  • Liaising with the training department to ensure training requirements are met
  • Maintaining accurate records of HSE activities, including training documentation, inspection records, and accident files

HSE Specific Duties

  • Monitoring safety performance and providing guidance on compliance with TLI Group's health, safety, and welfare policies
  • Conducting regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Communicating audit findings to site management and assisting in the closure of issues
  • Preparing and delivering safety briefings to employees
  • Carrying out effective site inductions to ensure employees understand safety procedures
  • Developing the Construction Stage Safety & Health plan with input from the construction team
  • Reviewing and providing technical input on RAMS documents prepared by the construction team
  • Investigating incidents and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Advising on personal protective equipment requirements for TLI Group employees
  • Participating in the development of emergency plans

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in the utilities industry, with experience in HSE administration and specific duties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
