Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Education Professional to join our team as a full-time Historian teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly successful department and contribute to the academic excellence of our students.
About the Department:
Our department is well-resourced and boasts a friendly and supportive head of department. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, while maintaining high standards of student behavior and academic achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans
- Maintaining high standards of student behavior and academic achievement
Requirements:
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
- Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Legal ability to work within the UK
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from working within a well-resourced department and a supportive school environment.
