Job Title: Outreach Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Temporary, with possibility of permanent contract

Location: Cheshire East and West

We are seeking a highly skilled Outreach Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEMH provision in Knutsford. The successful candidate will provide specialised SEMH Outreach support on a case-by-case basis, working with a range of professionals to ensure a child-centred, multi-agency support approach to Outreach delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing SEMH Outreach support to pupils with complex needs
  • Working with school staff, families, and wider professionals to ensure a cohesive support approach
  • Completing paperwork and Outreach protocols to ensure consistency and ongoing evaluation
  • Promoting pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
  • Providing advice and strategies to enable children with SEMH to access the curriculum and participate fully

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working with SEMH pupils and their families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
