Job Description

Role Summary:

This is a key role within the Programme and Project Management Community, reporting to the Utilities Programme Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple Utilities engagements, diversionary works designs, and their construction phasing at Tempsford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and coordinate with Utilities stakeholders, including NGET, Anglian Water, UKPN, Openreach, and Cadent Gas, for the Tempsford area of the EWR Core route.
  • Work closely with the EWR Design teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.
  • Interface with critical 3rd party stakeholders, including National Highways and Network Rail, to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Establish and manage the sequencing programme for Utilities diversionary works designs.
  • Develop and present high-level logistical planning for Utilities works, integrating with enabling and main civils works.
  • Establish and own the critical path for the Utility programme of work.
  • Work within and support the wider EWR Utilities Team.
  • Report and escalate matters as necessary.
  • Manage contractual Utilities service provisions, including feasibility studies, design delivery, planning, and more.
  • Foster an innovative mindset by proactively seeking and implementing creative solutions to challenges.

Requirements:

  • Sound working knowledge of the Utilities sectors.
  • Design and programme coordination skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environments.
  • Resilience and ability to bounce back from setbacks.
  • Proficiency in navigating change and periods of transformation.

Education and Qualifications:

  • CDM 2015 training.
  • Project management training.
