Description of Role

As a Sign Production Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of sign making, including computer designing and printing, cutting panels, and fixing graphics on vehicles. You will work under supervision, developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and printing signs using computer software
  • Cut panels using precision equipment
  • Apply graphics to vehicles
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Learn to use wide format printers, RIP software, and loading processes
  • Develop skills in cutting vinyl using a Graphtech Plotter, weeding, and applying to panels
  • Follow instructions and work to deadlines
  • Package signs for dispatch

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Practical ability and numerate
  • Willing to progress and take on new challenges
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
