We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Development Scientist to join our client's analytical development team at SRG. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell based assays and/or ELISAs, with experience in method development and validation. They will be responsible for carrying out analytical development technical transfer, validation and qualification of client methods, as well as working as the expert on hand for particular assays.

The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to manage workloads and prioritize tasks to ensure critical assays are available to meet the quality control service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Transfer and Validation: Carry out analytical development technical transfer, validation and qualification of client methods.
  • Assay Expertise: Work as the expert on hand for particular assays, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Liaison with Client Technical Groups: Liaise with client technical groups to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control Support: Provide QC support, ensuring that assays are developed and validated to meet quality control standards.
  • Method Improvement: Identify areas for method improvement and implement changes to optimize assay performance.

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree Level: Educated to degree level in a relevant life science or chemistry discipline.
  • Strong Background in Cell Based Assays/ELISAs: Strong background in cell based assays/ELISAs within a development or quality control/testing laboratory.
  • Method Development and Validation Experience: Experience in method development and validation would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and prioritize tasks.
