As a Trading Assistant at Mountain Warehouse, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time. This involves working closely with our Buying team to plan and build product ranges, managing stock levels to maximize profit.

We're looking for an analytical individual who is eager to start a career in Merchandising. Our entry-level merchandising teams consist of talented Allocators, Online Assistants, Trading Assistants, and Planning Assistants, all of whom share a love for numbers and analytical thinking.

As this is an entry-level role, our merchandising team will train and develop you so that you can have a successful career in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run daily and weekly sales reports and distribute them to the team.
  • Review intake of stock for the category and manage any queries from our retail stores to ensure allocations are delivered in a timely manner, highlighting any concerns to the wider team.
  • Support the Trading Manager with store performance and product optimization.
  • Maintain good systems 'house keeping' within the category.
  • Share best practices across the buying and merchandising community.
