History ECT Opportunity

We are seeking a History ECT to join our team at Wayman Education, working with a reputable secondary school in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to secondary students, with a focus on History.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of secondary students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic performance
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to provide support for students
  • Participate in school events and activities, adhering to safeguarding policies

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Degree in a relevant field, with a specialization in History
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to engage learners
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs
