About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team at Hambly Freeman. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building responsive websites from supplied design files, using semantic HTML5, JavaScript, SASS/CSS, and JS frameworks such as Vue or React.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing pixel-perfect websites with clean, concise code that adheres to the latest standards
  • Integrating the latest front-end technologies into development tasks on a regular basis
  • Collaborating with our UX designer and design agencies to bring unique and progressive design ideas to life
  • Researching and developing new front-end technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Assisting the Directors in preparing timing estimates for projects based on a supplied brief and/or artwork

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience building responsive websites from supplied design files
  • Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5, JavaScript, SASS/CSS, and JS frameworks such as Vue or React
  • Familiarity with NextJS and/or NuxtJS is an advantage
  • Experience in extracting assets and generating SVGs from Adobe XD or Figma is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and PHP is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong interest in emerging web technologies and a desire to learn and push the boundaries of your development capabilities
