We are Places Leisure, a social enterprise that believes in creating active places and healthy people for communities to thrive. As a Lifeguard at our leisure centre in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, you will be working in a fun and lively environment with like-minded people.

Your role will involve supervising customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities, ensuring the safety of all pool users and overseeing the operations of the building. You will have excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering first-class customer service.

We offer ongoing training and competency assessments, as well as opportunities for first aid at work training, swimming teacher qualifications, and various apprenticeship routes. A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities.
  • Ensure the safety of all pool users and oversee the operations of the building.
  • Deliver first-class customer service and deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all pool users.
