Equans UK is seeking an experienced Electrically Qualified Multiskilled Maintenance & Service Technician to join their on-site team at a student accommodation complex in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will hold a valid NVQ electrical qualification with 18th Edition training and have experience in a comparable role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out a range of both Reactive Works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with the PPM schedule.
  • Provide maintenance at a single site student accommodation complex in Birmingham.
  • Respond to all Reactive Maintenance requests during normal working hours and Out of Hours as part of the On-call Out of Hours Rota.
  • Quarterly shower head & hose cleaning in accordance with L8 requirements.
  • Monthly temperature monitoring of Hot & Cold water systems.
  • Weekly flushing of water outlets in all unoccupied rooms.
  • Weekly fire alarm testing on the student accommodation.
  • Undertake regular visual inspections of building fabric, furniture, fixtures & fittings.

Requirements:

  • Electrical qualification (minimum NVQ level 2).
  • Computer literate with good organisational and administration acumen.
