About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IFA Administrator to join our client's growing team in their boutique firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior IFA Administrator and will play a key role in the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new business submissions and ongoing adviser/customer support for existing platform and non-platform business.
  • Pre-meeting preparation, including obtaining full plan information and conducting research to provide Paraplanners with all necessary information.
  • AML checks on all clients, obtaining evidence and recording on the back office system.
  • Platform new business submission and all ongoing adviser/customer support for existing platform and non-platform business.
  • Processing of withdrawals, including general investments, PCLS, and UFPLS.
  • Producing valuations and meeting packs for annual and half-yearly client financial reviews.
  • Checking all new business for compliance, including pensions, investments, and life cover arrangements.
  • Preparing and issuing post-sale suitability letters.
  • Managing pipeline new business.
  • Checking and issuing annual review reports.
  • Liaising with clients and providers to provide full IFA and client support for both new and existing business.
  • Maintaining client database, including Intelligent Office.
  • Inputting and reconciling fees.
  • Managing/arranging diaries and client meetings for advisers.
  • Experienced in provider platforms, including Standard Life Elevate, OMW, Novia, Amber, Aviva, and ARC.
  • Preparation for regular staff administration meetings.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience as an Administrator working within IFA.
  • Pensions and investments knowledge.
  • Experienced at processing new business.
  • Intelligent Office experience ideal.
