About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter/Cleaner at St James Palace. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • General cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining the royal guardrooms
  • Supporting the running of a busy kitchen, including kitchen porter duties and assisting chefs
  • Ensuring all designated areas are cleaned to the highest specification
  • Ensuring all equipment is used and stored as necessary
  • Being familiar with health and safety practices
  • Rubbish disposal
  • Assisting with deep cleans
  • Checking equipment is safe and working
Requirements
  • DBS Check required
  • Previous kitchen porter experience
  • Previous experience would be an advantage, but on-the-job training will be provided
