Job Details

Gi Group UK is currently recruiting for several Class 1 drivers for our client based in Wetherby. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle checks, securing loads, and delivering safely to customers throughout the UK.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducting vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
  • Securing loads to prevent damage or loss during transit
  • Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers
  • Prioritizing workload to meet time commitments
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • A presentable appearance and attention to detail
  • No more than 6 penalty points on driving license
  • Valid, in-date Tachograph and CPC
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Good customer service skills
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar role
