About the Role

We are a leading specialist engineering services company delivering integrated solutions for complex energy and infrastructure projects and operating assets. The role we are looking to fill is a permanent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our workshop in Aberdeen. This is a full-time onshore position offering 37.5 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. You will be expected to carry out the inspection, service, repair, and test of hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, repair, and test all equipment brought into the workshop, including winches, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hot oil flushing of hoses and pipework, hook balls / blocks, and crane boom.
  • Ensure the workshop area is kept clean and tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order.
  • Ensure project requirements are met within the allocated time or raise with the Supervisor if there is an issue with this.
  • Work as part of a team with members of the workshop and other departments.
  • Uphold the standards of the company and work in line with the company systems and objectives.
  • May be required to work on site locally as and when required.
About You

To be successful in the role, you will have completed a mechanical bias apprenticeship or achieved a formal qualification and have solid experience in the repair and maintenance of most of the equipment outlined.

You may have come from a automotive or agricultural background and are looking for an opportunity to work in oil and gas.
