Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality care and support to our service user, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration">
  • Assisting with mobility and handling, ensuring her safety and well-being at all times">
  • Providing companionship and engaging her in activities she enjoys, such as reading, watching TV, or spending time in the garden">
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes or concerns to the team">
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • 3 months' previous care experience, with a focus on personal care and medication administration">
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for travel to and from assignments">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our service user and her family">
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing situations">

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Experience working with spinal injury management, catheter care, cough assist, and Autonomic Dysreflexia awareness">
  • Familiarity with clinical software and electronic care planning systems">
