About the Role
Pragma Consulting is seeking an experienced Retail Sector Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing strategic advice to our clients.

Responsibilities
• Project Management: Lead project delivery across multiple projects of varying size, establish project plans, schedule check-ins with the team, and update clients on significant content changes.
• Analytical Insight: Carry out data gathering activities, lead moderation for focus groups, determine original hypotheses, review analysis, manipulate data into meaningful insights, and highlight discrepancies.
• Client Management: Manage client relationships by scheduling regular touch points, handling queries, providing project updates, and escalating concerns.
• People Management: Nurture talent development within the team, provide timely feedback, guidance, and coaching.
• Business Development & Marketing: Research and gather data for marketing and pitch material, keep past and existing clients informed on relevant trends, and write articles for external PR newsletters.

About You
• 3-5 years' experience in consulting, property, aviation, or travel retail sectors.
• Strong knowledge of global retail and travel retail sectors, including brands, retail formats, commercial layouts, and operational challenges.
• Understanding of brand performance metrics, catchment analysis, demand modelling, space modelling, revenue forecasting, leasing structures, and operator requirements.
• Ability to manage junior and senior staff, work independently or as part of a team, present internally and externally, and have good Excel skills and attention to detail.
