We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to support our partner schools in Blackburn and Pendle. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing lesson plans and ensuring the smooth running of classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential, and a working knowledge of safeguarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons to students.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and other school staff.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified (if possible, in a core GCSE subject).
  • DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
  • Employment References from previous Teaching work.
  • A passion for working with local secondary schools to help maintain standards.
  • Ability to engage all students and establish appropriate relationships.
