We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team at Refuge as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support and advocacy to women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children
- Work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis to provide expert guidance and support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local agencies and services to ensure seamless support for our clients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of domestic violence and its impact on women and children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
