The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant to join our ecology team as a Senior Ecologist. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the expanding ecology team, securing new business opportunities, and maintaining various projects with industry-leading ecological detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in managing and supporting an ecology team within a consultancy environment.
  • Expertise in providing ecological input for planning applications, conducting field surveys, and writing detailed reports.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, write fee proposals, manage project budgets, and control project timelines.
  • A degree in Ecology or a related subject, with significant experience in project delivery.
  • Membership in a professional body such as CIEEM or CIWEM and licensed for at least one protected species.
  • Strong organizational skills, a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to professional growth and knowledge-sharing.
