As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Piping System Design & Sizing: Develop and implement efficient piping designs that meet project requirements, focusing on hot/cold water reticulation, compressed air, and chilled cooling water systems.
  2. AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD software to create high-precision drawings and manage projects from concept to completion.
  3. Project Coordination: Collaborate with electrical engineers, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of system designs.
  4. Material Take-Offs & Quality Reviews: Conduct material take-offs and review checkpoints to guarantee consistency, accuracy, and readiness for fabrication and installation.
  5. Field Support: Provide technical expertise during installation and startup, with international travel required (10-35%) to oversee project phases.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, specifically in pipe design and sizing.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software for piping and system design.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a technical understanding of mechanical systems and piping configurations.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in an innovative and collaborative environment.
