About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Construction business in the Eastern Counties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the document control procedure, ensuring all information complies with company formats, templates, and standards.
- Setting up and managing the timely completion of operational and maintenance manuals.
- Maintaining documents and drawings, providing a full comprehensive traceability of change.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of electronic document management systems and be educated to NVQ level or equivalent. You should also have strong knowledge of setting up and using electronic document management systems, as well as proficiency in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing, and selected job-specific software.
Requirements
- Regular travel to and from sites in the Norwich and Ipswich area will be required, so applicants must hold a driving license.
- A passion for the project at hand and a willingness to work in an inclusive and hardworking team environment.
