Paraplanning Associate

Job Overview:
Pertemps is seeking a highly motivated Trainee Paraplanner to join its dynamic financial planning team in Leicester. As a key support role, you will assist senior paraplanners and advisors with preparing high-quality reports, research, and recommendations for clients.

About the Role:
In this Trainee Paraplanner position, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience and training while working closely with experienced professionals. Your primary responsibilities include conducting research on financial products, investments, and providers, as well as supporting senior colleagues with client meetings and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on financial products, investments, and providers
• Prepare and maintain financial planning documentation and reports
• Support senior paraplanners and advisors with client meetings and follow-ups
• Assist in the analysis of clients' financial positions, goals, and objectives
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures
• Develop strong relationships with internal teams and clients

Requirements:
• Strong interest in financial planning and personal finance
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of financial services or relevant qualification (desirable)
