We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Allowance Tax Specialist to join our team at Belinda Roberts Ltd. As a key member of our Financial Services Business, you will play a vital role in sustaining the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in identifying qualifying projects for tax benefits.
- Conduct detailed project technical report calls with clients and key personnel to establish eligible Capital Allowance claims.
- Draft project technical reports disclosing the projects discussed in the meeting, in line with guidelines for Capital Allowance for Tax purposes.
- Research and solve tax issues to maximise client benefit.
- Liaise with industry professionals and accountants regarding Capital Allowance costing and developments.
- Communicate with clients and accountants to obtain required information for Capital Allowance returns.
- Complete tax computations to calculate client options and discuss with accountants.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate with clients and accountants.
- Manage workload and update progress in internal systems.
- Maintain high organisation levels and ensure client claims are processed efficiently.
Requirements:
- Strong client management skills and experience in face-to-face customer meetings.
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with numbers.
- Knowledge of Capital Allowance Tax and ability to communicate complex information to clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
