About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Waterloo Lodge School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Empty and clean bins, and remove waste to designated areas, including recycling.
  • Wash, dust, and polish surfaces, including floors, walls, and tables.
  • Clean toilet areas, including replenishing toilet rolls and soap.
  • Undertake deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning skirting boards, walls, and internal and external glass.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
  • Understanding of and commitment to equality of opportunity.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible to changing demands.
