About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide one-to-one support to vulnerable pupils in a face-to-face setting. As a LAC Tutor, you will work with students in a home environment, developing and delivering individualized programs to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English, or Primary)
  • Plan and implement individualized programs of learning
  • Tutor students in their homes, adapting to their needs and abilities
  • Work with students of varying ages and abilities, including those with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Collaborate with Teaching Personnel to ensure a high-quality service
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with primary or secondary-aged children (minimum of two years)
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and friendly approach
  • Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Knowledge of the UK educational system and curriculum
