Morrison Water Services, a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Waste Water Engineer to join their Engineering Services Teams in Leeds.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a Lead Waste Water Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing design activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all relevant regulations, including CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental issues.
  • Lead and manage design activities to ensure design progress meets construction programme.
  • Liaise with internal departments, clients, and third parties to ensure projects are designed using the most cost-effective method available and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure design staff produce accurate statutory notices for private land/easements in conjunction with client specifications/requirements.
  • Provide reports and information to the Design Manager, Technical Manager, and Project Managers, including clients.
  • Ensure correct technique selection and design of the most efficient solution using investigation, site survey, materials approved, and safe systems of work.
  • Ensure all Quality Assurance documentation is up to date throughout the end-to-end process of feasibility, investigation, design, detail design, delivery, and completion.

Requirements:

  • Experience of using MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good knowledge of water hydraulic network systems through previous experience or education.
  • Experience of using AutoCAD 2D/GIS software.
  • A valid driving license.
