Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Professional Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team at their Newport facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, particularly in the aerospace and automotive domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams and oversee the production of electrical installations models and detailed drawings for new product and platform designs.
  • Plan and coordinate all design activities, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Utilize CATIA V5 to create and manage electrical designs, with experience in electrical routing design and installations.
  • Lead teams and provide guidance on design specifications and drawings.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, and/or Structural Engineering.
  • Advanced user of Catia V5, with experience in project leadership through the full design lifecycle.
  • Ability to plan and schedule design activities across various design modules.
