Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and Joiner to join our team at Chandler Carpentry Ltd. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with an estimated salary of $40 per hour.

About the Role

• This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as knowledge of joinery and construction techniques.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read technical drawings and perform various tasks related to building and repairing structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform plumb and level checks to ensure accuracy in construction.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Conduct joinery work, including cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Familiarity with decking, flooring, door hanging practices is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
