We're looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our finance function, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Asset Management, Project Management, Financial Reporting, and Financial Accounting teams.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and financial reporting. You'll be responsible for:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Building a strong working knowledge of our asset portfolio through engagement with finance business partners, assisting in the preparation of quarterly business plans, and supporting the management of performance against budgets.
  • Cash Planning: Preparing and managing liquidity across PropCo and OpCo, including weekly cash position and forecast, and quarterly cash plan.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Preparing monthly management accounts, analyzing trends in rental collection, lettings progress, and vacancy analysis, and supporting consolidated reporting.
  • Banking & Funding: Supporting bank reporting requirements, preparing interest forecasts, and undertaking postings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and at least one year's experience post-qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A flexible and pragmatic approach to finance, with a willingness to challenge and be challenged.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
