Job Title: Real Estate Finance Paralegal

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join our dynamic commercial property team in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instigate matter opening processes and issue initial enquiries.
  • Obtain and/or review property searches.
  • Review property due diligence and prepare draft reports on title for review by senior lawyers.
  • Prepare suites of banking documentation, including legal charges and guarantees.
  • Maintain good file management and electronic storage.
  • Liaise with clients, team members, and third-party solicitors to drive transactions forward.
  • Issue and track completion of agreed form documents via DocuSign.
  • Manage the completion process, including funds flow and redemption.
  • Handle post-completion matters, including registration at Companies House and the Land Registry.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have experience in most of the above areas and be working as a Real Estate Finance Paralegal in an established firm. The role may also suit an experienced legal secretary looking to become more involved with clients on the commercial property side.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will be comfortable liaising directly with clients, including banks and other lenders. The role is ideally full-time and office-based in Hertfordshire, with the possibility of part-time or flexible working arrangements.
