Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for programming and commissioning distributed control systems for industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC and DCS programming, as well as experience with functional safety and IEC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and commission distributed control systems for industrial automation
  • Develop and implement control systems for manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and oil & gas industries
  • Travel to sites and off-shore locations to assist with commissioning of new equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of PLC and DCS programming
  • Experience with functional safety and IEC standards
  • Ability to travel and work off-shore for up to 2 weeks at a time
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
