About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEND educator to join our team as a tutor for pupils in KS3. This role will involve working 1:1 with a student in their home, assessing their learning journey and implementing tailored programmes to cater to their needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with complex needs, including Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. They will need to be confident in building relationships with students and tailoring their approach to meet individual needs.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or tutor to make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a SEND tutor, you will be responsible for:

  • Working 1:1 with a student in their home
  • Assessing the student's learning journey and implementing tailored programmes
  • Building a relationship with the student to understand their needs and goals
  • Tracking and logging progress in our online platform LEAP

You will need to have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide evidence of relevant qualifications and training.
