Adult Autism Specialist

Location: Kingston & Richmond
Team/Specialism: Approved Mental Health Professional
Pay Rate: £37 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Months
Hours: Full-time
Main Duties:
- Deliver Exceptional AMHP Services: Provide the highest standard of assessment and intervention under the Mental Health Act, ensuring all actions are in accordance with current legislation and the Council's policies.
- Social Supervision: Oversee the social supervision of conditionally discharged patients when required, ensuring their reintegration and well-being are maintained.
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults: Take statutory action to protect service users deemed to be at risk, particularly in cases of neglect or abuse, following Inter-Agency Safeguarding Policies.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK
