Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Newcastle. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver mathematics lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities
  • Create resources such as worksheets, textbooks, and online materials to support teaching and learning
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage student behavior and enforce school policies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and ability to explain concepts effectively
  • Patience and understanding when working with students of varying abilities
  • Ability to contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Undergo a criminal background check, including a Child enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) check
