About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at Hall & Kay Fire Engineering. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex fire protection and security solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the estimating of new large projects in London, including office/commercial developments, infrastructure, and data centres.
  • Review and respond to enquiries sent to you, including updating our CRM system Goldvision.
  • Produce accurate quotations by reviewing customer specifications, drawings, bills of quantities, and other project documentation.
  • Liaise with the design engineers, project management team, and leadership to gain technical input into the quotation.
  • Analyse the level of risk associated with financial and technical elements of the project.
  • Progress submitted quotations to obtain client feedback and prepare win/loss key performance indicators and lessons learnt.
  • Interact with customers to further client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.

What We Offer:

  • A genuine interest in the Sprinkler/Fire Protection industry is essential.
  • Previous experience in the Sprinkler/Fire Protection/Construction/Building Services industry would be an advantage.
  • A natural appetite for sales/estimating and a willingness to develop yourself into a highly competent estimator with a desire to win is essential.
  • Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages is essential.
  • Naturally comfortable with working with numbers and data is essential.

Training and Development:

You will study towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship over a period of 18 months. This will be delivered via online learning from a national apprenticeship provider.

When not studying, you will work alongside our experienced and professional team delivering a real role job as a Sprinkler Sales Estimator.
