Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solar PV Installation: Install solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of installed solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet high-quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing information and guidance regarding their solar PV systems.
  • Documentation: Complete all required documentation, including system commissioning reports and maintenance logs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including project managers and technical support staff, to ensure efficient and successful project completion.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar PV installation.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in solar PV installation or electrical installation. 18th Edition Electrical Installation.
  • Certification: Valid driving license.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in installing and commissioning various types of solar PV systems, including grid-tied and off-grid setups.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, wiring regulations (BS 7671), and health and safety standards.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
  • Travel: Prepared to travel and stay anywhere in the UK.
