Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Tunstall Healthcare (UK) Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our customers in the Bristol/Swindon/Bath area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of products, including Warden Call Systems, Dispersed Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, and Nurse Call systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in their homes, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems and principles.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology.
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline (specifically Electrical or Electronic Engineering) is desirable.
  • Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working, including mentoring/coaching and training others.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • A flexible approach to work, including on-call/weekend working.
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience of working with the elderly or vulnerable.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of networks and IP-based systems is desirable.
