Mechanic and Diagnostic Professional

Kenect Professional is seeking an experienced Mechanic and Diagnostic Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, utilizing manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
Carry out vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance on all makes & models, utilizing manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment when necessary. Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure vehicles are always in top working condition. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent, minimum 3 years work experience (excluding Apprenticeship) as a Vehicle Technician, strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues efficiently, proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines, great attention to detail, must be a team player, full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum. Estimated annual salary range based on industry standards and location. Additional benefits include 22 days holiday + bank holidays, rising with service, 30-minute paid break per day, Monday to Friday role, overtime available, free uniform, hybrid and EV training, room for progression & upskilling, employee discount scheme, long service awards, death in service benefit, occupational health, cycle to work scheme.
