**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Ambient & Snacks Procurement Manager to join our team at Bramwith Consulting. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement strategies to drive value creation, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct procurement, with experience in sourcing and category management within the food and beverage industry. They will possess excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Create category and sourcing strategies to identify market opportunities and develop the company offering.
  • Manage existing supplier contracts and negotiate commercials to deliver best value for the company.
  • Select, award, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with sustainable sourcing practices and contract framework requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to collaborate and deliver cost savings.
  • Assess and mitigate commodity risk, monitor market trends, and devise strategies with the supply base to reduce issues.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end direct procurement experience within Food & Beverages / Commodities / Ingredients / Raw Materials / Ambient & Snacks.
  • Demonstrable experience focused on strategic sourcing or category management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to achieve cost savings against volatile market conditions (commodities).
  • Procurement experience on a strategic level and demonstrable experience of running tenders.
