The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Yard Operative to join our team at Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a fast-paced yard environment, moving timber, and performing FLT duties.

About the Job:

This is a long-term temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to lift heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in a fast-paced yard environment
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Performing FLT duties
  • Moving timber

Requirements:

  • Combi FLT/side loader/counterbalance licence
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Working Hours and Pay:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00am to 4:45pm, Friday: 07:00am to 3:30pm. £11.91ph.
