Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a critical role in supporting the engineering team through all phases of the construction project. Your responsibilities will include supplying site plans, implementing new technology and precision instrumentation, and setting out structural features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake land / topographic and engineering surveys using specialist equipment and technology
  • Set out and implement Quality Assurance processes
  • Analyse data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Leica Survey Software
  • Prepare survey drawings and present data to clients
  • Advising on technical matters and working both on site and in an office as required

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Specialist land surveying skills and experience of large infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of and experience in reinforced concrete is a must
  • Must have experience in the use of an EDM/Total Station

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Geomatics / Engineering Surveying (desirable but not essential)
  • ICES/RICS (desirable but not essential)
  • Technical Qualifications (NVQ/HNC etc)
