About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Performing Arts Educator to teach drama to students at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in drama education and experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • To foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • To work collaboratively with the department and wider school community to enhance the performing arts provision.
  • To contribute to extracurricular drama activities, including school productions, drama clubs, and workshops.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject.
  2. Experience: Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  3. Passion: A passion for the performing arts and inspiring students to explore their creative potential.
  4. Approach: A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
