Job Title: Delivery Manager

Pinsent Masons is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager to join our Vario team. As a key member of our Managed Legal Services (MLS) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to our practice groups and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of paralegals focused on delivering work to both lawyers and external clients, including day-to-day supervision, training, and development.
  • Supervise the delivery of legal services to end-users, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Provide service delivery management support on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
  • Continuously develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service, working closely with the Vario team and other stakeholders.
  • Develop effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors, promoting the benefits of utilising alternative service delivery models.
  • Work with Resource Management to effectively manage the allocation of work, monitor/manage capacity and workload levels, and ensure optimal resource utilisation.
Requirements:
  • Alternative legal services experience, with a strong understanding of the legal sector and its challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a high-performing team of legal professionals, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Experience in managing the delivery of legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Significant experience of influencing stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote the benefits of utilising alternative service delivery models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
