Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. As a key member of our Critical Care Psychology Service, you will work closely with our Consultant Clinical Psychologist and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement psychological interventions to support patients and families in critical care settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
- Conduct assessments and provide psychological therapy to patients with complex mental health needs
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and expertise
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or a related field
- Experience working in critical care settings and with patients with complex mental health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
