Security Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Nottingham. As a Branch Relief Security Officer, you will provide support to our teams at prestigious and exclusive sites across the region.
Key Details:
- Hours: 42+ hours per week, covering Days, Nights, and Weekends
- Salary: £11.44 - £13.79 per hour + bank holiday incentives
- Benefits: Guaranteed hours contract, fuel allowance, and mileage reimbursement for travel to/from sites
You will be responsible for managing access for visitors and contractors, ensuring a professional service and smooth site operations. You will also utilise basic IT skills for efficient reporting and communication, oversee fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems to maintain site safety and security, conduct regular patrols and respond promptly to any site emergencies, and provide excellent customer service while carrying out duties assigned by the client or site manager.
Essential Skills:
- SIA licence
- Right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the remote location of some sites
- A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required
- Fluent in English
- Basic computing skills
