Job Description

TPF Recruitment is working with a multisited firm of chartered accountants in the South East who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to work with a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The successful candidate will undertake a varied workload of statutory accounts preparation, management accounts, and bookkeeping, as well as VAT and tax work. There will also be opportunities to work in audit, although this is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing accounts and tax work for clients
  • Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Undertaking statutory accounts preparation, management accounts, and bookkeeping
  • Providing VAT and tax services
  • Working in audit, with opportunities for professional development
Requirements
  • AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
  • At least 3 years of experience within practice, with hands-on experience of preparing accounts and tax work for clients
